Unlike other highly popular themes, the developer has given players a game where they take on the role of a vault cracker. Luck will need to be on your side if you want to get into the vault in this 5×3 slot, as you’ll need to land one of the 25 paylines that the game has to offer. This title is considered a high volatility slot, so wins will likely be less common but on the larger side, and it has an average RTP of 96%.  

How to play

When it comes to playing Hold The Safe, you can adjust the amount you bet per line, which in turn affects your total bet. The smallest value is £0.01 per line, for a total of £0.25, all the way up to £0.50 per line, for a total of £12.50. You can also configure the autoplay feature, which will automatically spin the reels for you a specified number of times. For this game, the automatic spins are 10, 20, 50 and 100. While there are no “stop” settings for autoplay, you can still click or tap the spin button to stop the reels from spinning.

In regards to symbols, you’ll be hoping to land one of the five high-value symbols, which are a stack of gold bars, a briefcase with cash, an expensive watch, a bag of diamonds, and a golden ring with rubies. There are an additional five low-value symbols that pay out less than half of these high-value symbols. They are the ace, king, queen, jack, 10 and 9. 

If you’re really lucky, you might also land the diamond scatter symbol, which triggers free spins if you land three of them. However, if you don’t, it’s considered a low-value symbol. A wild symbol, which is the word “Wild,” can also appear to replace any symbol but the scatter symbols. It can only appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Features

As we’ve already mentioned above, there are two main features you’ll want to keep an eye out for. These are:

• Free spins – As with many other slots, you can enjoy free spins if you land three of the diamond scatter symbols. This will reward you with three free spins. The Hold The Safe feature and additional free spins can be triggered during free spins, but they can only be retriggered a maximum of 50 times.
  You should also note that the free spins pause when the Hold The Safe feature activates. If this additional bonus feature does activate during free spins, it will play out as normal. All paylines and wagers are the same as during regular play.
• Hold The Safe – If you land three of the safe scatter symbols, the Hold The Safe bonus feature will activate. During this exciting minigame game, the safe symbols will lock in place, and you’ll be rewarded with three additional spins every time a safe appears. At the end of the minigame, the safes on the reel open to reveal your winnings!

This slot is a pleasant, if somewhat simple, affair visually. The rest of the visual assets are all high-resolution and detailed, giving the game a very polished look in the graphics department.
