The first thing you’ll see when you fire up the Blood Queen slot is a notice that says “Win up to 50 Free Spins in the Seduction Battle”!
Now that immediately grabbed this Wombat’s attention, because if there’s any seducing to be done, those fifty spins are in the WomBag. The ladies can never resist a wee furry fella like yours truly!
Blood Queen is all about- yes, you guessed it, vampires of the royal persuasion. And why not? Some of our favourite slots are stuffed full of fangy vamps- there’s Immortal Romance and Dracula for starters.
This 1X2 game from Irondog Studios is a real looker and you’ll get straight into the mood with mist drifting along the bottom of the screen and the traditional mad organist playing away in the background. It’s a standard 3 row, 5 reel game, but the graphics and sound are anything but standard. It’s definitely one of the new generation games like the Samurai Split slot, Birdz and others. Fangs a lot Irondog!
The game is set in Transylvania (where else?) As the full moon builds, the Blood Queen and Van Hell battle it out on your screen while you try and scoop some wins. You’ll see the Vampire (he’s an evil looking fella), the Stake and the Queen’s Ruby along with the Blood Queen and Van Hell. The usual card symbols make up the low paying symbols. Just like Dragon Wins, another favourite of mine, this slot is beautifully drawn and is a pleasure to play.
Watch out for the Gargoyl Wilds on this 30 pay-line, 5 reel slot machine. These puppies can appear at the top of any of the reels and they then expand to cover the whole of the reel. We like!
They’ll stand in for all other symbols apart from the Free Spin symbols.
Let’s talk Free Spins symbols shall we- these are the love hearts. 3 of these will bag you 20 free spins (generous huh?), 4 will get you 30 and if you land 5 you’ll be getting no less than 50 free spins.
When you get into the free spins bonus, you’ll need to choose one of 2 modes. Pick either Van Hell or Blood Queen as you go in. Each mode has it’s own wild symbol which may turn up during the free bonus round. You’ll either be sprinkling holy water around with Van Hell’s Expanding Sticky Wilds (the vamps won’t like that) or you’ll be seeing the Blood Queen Shifting Wild Reel.
“Holy Water, Batman!”, is what you’ll likely to gasp when you see the sticky wild spreading animation. The symbol spreads on each successive spin until it covers 4 symbols, and then it takes off for the next spin. This all gives you more opportunities to make up wins, so start praying for water my little furless friends!
And if you are in the Blood Queen mode? Well then the wilds anchor to the top of the middle 3 reels and they expand into the lovely Queen covering the entire reel. On each spin, the wild reel nudges to the left until it disappears off the edge of the screen. You might even see more then one wild reel at the same time if you are lucky. Bring it o, Queenie!

Blood Queen Scratch doesn’t feature any special bonus symbols such as scatters or wilds due to the nature of scratch cards. With that being said, the game symbols include the Blood Queen herself, Van Hell dressed in a blue suit and a top hat, a red potion, a blue potion, a gargoyle, a red crystal cluster and a ghoul.
Blood Queen Scratch Free Spins and bonuses
Like most scratch card games, Blood Queen Scratch doesn’t feature a free spins bonus round. Instead, all the action is in the main game where you need to reveal three matching symbols to then see what prize you’ll be awarded with!
Blood Queen Scratch Payouts
As mentioned above, in order to win a prize in Blood Queen Scratch, you just need to reveal three matching symbols on an active line on the scratch card. The payouts for each symbol are explained below!
The Blood Queen is the highest paying symbol earning you up to 500x your bet when you land three of them! Following the Blood Queen is Van Hell who can award you 100x when three of him are revealed on the scratch card table. The red potion can reward you with 50x your total bet while the blue potion can reward you with 10x your total bet when you land three of each.
The gargoyle symbol can earn you 5x your total bet when you reveal three of a kind while the red crystals symbol can award you with 3x your total bet. The ghoul symbol can award you with 2x your total bet if you reveal three of the same symbols.
Blood Queen Scratch Graphics and Sound
The graphics and sound effects in Blood Queen Scratch are epic as they all work together well in collaboration to complete the best overall spooky themed game possible! The sound effects have a creepy and somewhat terrifying edge to them which creates a lot of suspense and mystery to the ambiance of Blood Queen Scratch. When the symbols are revealing themselves either individually by you clicking on them one at a time or all at once when you press on the ‘play’ button, there are added sound effects creating more dimension and flow to the overall acoustics of the game.
In the background you will see several trees at the top of the hill and most of the night sky which is filled with stars and the full moon. To the right of the game screen are the action buttons, and behind it there is a wallpaper looking backdrop which has a ton of skeleton skulls on it while in the top right corner there is blood splats dripping down.
